Broome Horse Riders’ Club offers short and long term agistment at the Broome Rodeo Grounds.

What’s included in agistment at the Broome Rodeo Grounds? Agistees have full use of our main arena (with lighting) and the large campdraft arena along with two round yards. We have a crush and a farrier’s “stall”, as well as a communal feed shed. There is also access to a large network of trails around Dampier Creek, town and Cable Beach.

Agistees provide all necessary feed, care, and housing for their horse. We have a caretaker who lives on the grounds to keep an eye on things and maintain the common areas.

Short term agistment is also available if you’re coming to Broome for an event or if you’re just passing through and need a night or two of rest.

Please note: as of Jan 2022 there is a significant waitlist for agistment. To be added to the Agistment Waitlist please complete an Agistment Waitlist Application. You must also be a BHRC Member (at least a Casual member, please see application for more information), please complete the Membership Application & send through applicable fee to be added to the waitlist.
